MOTION to accept August 13, 2025, Board Meeting Minutes by Ebensperger/Johnson, motion approved.
DISCUSSION: Jim Olafson is interested in the trailer we have for sale. We will advertise it on the Village’s Facebook page to see if anyone else is interested. Will post it for $500.00. Rebecca Bru and Jim asked about when and why their property was put into Residential zoning. Property is located right across from the cemetery on Oak Hill Road and runs to EE. Back in 2001 it was in Agricultural. We are planning to research and investigate this more. The Planning Committee may have some answers. Jim also asked for permission to fix his fencing on his property line. He was told he can repair the fence with no permit.
PUBLIC WORKS Chris informed us that the five-year water tower cleaning is coming up to keep in mind for this year’s upcoming budget. Divers will go and inspect the inside. Marked shut off for running fiber to houses. Chris said a guy came to replace a trans-reducer. While he was doing that, he replaced the cables with stainless steel. I will need parts for the blowers at the ponds and manhole covers. Chris would like to get set up with “Splash” software program for processing water meter readings. The Cat loader’s window is cracked and would like to get that repaired before winter. Roger and Chris will be going to meeting on 9/11 up at Pierce County. The campground will close on Oct 15. But, due to Chris being at a conference, the lines won’t get blown out until the following Monday Oct 20. At Village Hall we would like to put an outside outlet up by the front door. That would be more convenient with the new door.
