Call meeting to order: 6:30 pm

MOTION to accept July 9, 2025, Board Meeting Minutes by Johnson/Baker, motion carried

DISCUSSION: Dale Camen would like to have a second meter installed at his outdoor spicket. Then he would be charged accordingly to just water usage. This is something that we will need to check with the DNR. He may be charged for an extra meter. Also, Dale was asking about a future park for kids up on the north side of the tracks. We told him that at this time, we may be using the empty lot for a new well and pump house.

PUBLIC WORKS – Chis said a guy was coming to do a six-month gas monitor calibration. The guys who installed covers on the ponds want to come look at what it looks like now, compared to what it used to look like. Chris said he had sprayed the weeds twice earlier this year. They looked awful out there. The storm that came through knocked a big tree down at the cemetery. It caused Esterby’s headstone to move, and there’s a crack in the center. That took him and Jeff 3 days to clean up. Monday, the guys will be drilling for fiber optics, so we will have to go around town and mark all the curb stops. No one has contacted Roger or Chris about the village buildings or campground for the fiber optic. Chris talked to Chad with the county about naming the Cemetery streets. He said if they are 8 – 10 feet wide, we can add them to our stuff. Just must meet the width requirements. Sara has several ideas for a name. Chicoquette, Stroupe & Tyler. Chris is about 90% done with the first section of meter replacements. He will need to order more batteries; they are $5700. At this time, we will wait on ordering them.
